Appointments and Fees

If you are unable to attend your appointment, we kindly ask you to cancel at least 24h in advance. In case of late cancellation or absence without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee. Patients who fail to attend their first appointment without prior notice may be refused a new appointment. This policy helps us keep waiting times under control.

The doctors at Mediclinic are not contracted with the national health insurance system. Additional fees may be charged.

Plastic surgery

Within plastic surgery, a distinction is made between aesthetic and medical procedures.

Aesthetic procedures are subject to 21% VAT in accordance with applicable legislation.
For these treatments, we apply an all-inclusive formula, where postoperative consultations are included in the total price of the surgery. 

Medical procedures, on the other hand, are exempt from VAT. In this case, postoperative consultations are charged separately but are eligible for reimbursement by the health insurance fund.

Aesthetic dermatology

Prices for aesthetic dermatology and medical wellness are already VAT included (if applicable).
