Cryolipolysis

The CRISTAL® Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive and non-surgical treatment for freezing fat. It is safe, pain free and requires no anaesthesia. The goal is to induce lipolysis (apoptosis), which is the decomposition of adipose tissue (fat cells) leading to the elimination of local fat deposits, without damaging any surrounding tissue.

The treatment lasts for 60-90 minutes, depending on the area. The machine is available with a variety of different applicators, each specifically designed to match all parts of the human body. The applicator is placed over the treatment area and once you feel comfortable, the suction and controlled cooling begins. When the treatment is complete, the applicator is removed and the area is massaged. The treatment is safe and pain free. Temporary redness and swelling is possible but will resolve within hours or days. There is no downtime necessary after the procedure; you can return to your normal activities right after the treatment.

Each treatment reduces about 30% -35% fat. If you’d like to see even more improvement, you’ll probably benefit from a second treatment in the same area. After 6-8 weeks, the result is optimal and definitive. Regular workouts and eating healthily is also important to maximise the results.
