PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)
PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma and is often referred to as the “Vampire Facelift”.

What can I expect? How does it work?
During the treatment a small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm. Hyaluronic acid is added to the blood and undergoes centrifugation. This process separates the blood plasma from the blood cells. Blood plasma contains a very high concentration of active growth factors. These have a rejuvenating, tightening and hydrating effect on your skin. A cream will be applied to numb the treatment area. The blood plasma is consequently flushed into the skin through microneedling. There is no risk of infection or allergic reaction associated with this treatment since we use the patient’s own blood during this procedure.
What are the side-effects?
You might experience a slight burning/tingling sensation or dryness straight after treatment. You can use a moisturizing cream 2 hours after treatment to alleviate these symptoms. A feeling of tightness can persist for 3 days.
When is the effect of the treatment visible?
The effect of the treatment is visible after 4 weeks. We advise 3 consecutive treatments for optimal results. A yearly repeat treatment is necessary to maintain the results.
